Group guitar lessons are the best way to learn
Over the course of my journey as a guitar teacher I’ve noticed that many of my students have something in common: they rarely play guitar with other people. This is a huge missed opportunity! Music is a language, and like a language it is best learned in a social setting. It was never intended to be a solitary pursuit! In my group guitar lessons in Winnipeg you’ll have the opportunity to learn alongside other guitar players.
How I run group guitar lessons
I offer group guitar lessons out of my home in St. Boniface, Winnipeg. I run group guitar lessons in a semester format, with each semester lasting 12 weeks, with one 45 minute lesson per week. Payment is required in full to book a spot in a group guitar lesson. I keep class sizes small, from 2 – 4 students, so space is limited.
Group guitar lessons are more affordable
My group guitar lessons in Winnipeg are more affordable than one on one lessons. This doesn’t mean they’re inferior, in fact I firmly believe that learning with others is better than learning on your own. I am still able to give one on one attention, but this is rarely needed as students move naturally from one concept to the next!

LEARN TO PLAY GUITAR – ADULT

$240 per student ($20 per lesson for 12 lessons)
In this group guitar program you’ll learn the basics of guitar in 12 weeks! This is all that is required to learn the fundamentals of playing guitar. In this class you’ll learn to strum, learn open chords and power chords, learn to read guitar tabs, learn to find a melody by ear, explore basic scales, and learn how to improvise! You’ll also get instruction on how to learn a song using online resources, in short: you’ll learn everything you need to teach yourself and continue your guitar journey.
LEARN TO PLAY GUITAR – TEEN
Ages 12 – 18
Fridays from 4 – 4:45 pm

In this after school group guitar program you’ll learn the basics of guitar in 12 weeks! This is all that is required to learn the fundamentals of playing guitar. In this class you’ll learn to strum, learn open chords and power chords, learn to read guitar tabs, learn to find a melody by ear, explore basic scales, and learn how to improvise! You’ll also get instruction on how to learn a song using online resources, in short: everything you need to teach yourself and continue your guitar journey.
